By using EML Scanner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

EML Scanner is a web-based email analysis service. You forward suspicious emails to scan@emlscanner.com and receive a threat report in return. The Service is provided as a tool to help you assess suspicious emails. It is not a substitute for independent verification or professional security advice.

3. Account and Email Address

Your plan is tied to a single email address. Paid plan benefits apply only when forwarding from the email address used at the time of purchase. Forwards from other addresses are processed under the free plan limits. You are responsible for keeping your registered email address accurate.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Forward emails you do not have the right to share
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent plan limits
• Reverse engineer or probe the Service infrastructure
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Payment Terms

• Basic Plan: Charged monthly. Cancel anytime and you retain access until the end of the billing period
• Pro Plan: Charged monthly. Cancel anytime and you retain access until the end of the billing period
• All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store your payment card details

6. Refunds

Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, available at emlscanner.com/refund.

7. Disclaimers

EML Scanner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will detect every scam or fraudulent email. AI analysis is highly accurate but not infallible. The Service should be used as one layer of judgment, not as a sole authority. Always verify independently before acting on any financial or sensitive request.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access ceases immediately. For paid plans, refer to our Refund Policy for applicable refunds.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
